Demonstrate Against Eight Years Of War and Occupation
Sunday, March 20th, 2:00pm - 4:00pm
North Prospect, at Towne Center Drive
JOIN AWARE for a special demonstration at 2pm Sunday, March 20th, to demand an end to the US occupations of Afghanistan and of Iraq -- with the Iraq occupation now beginning its ninth year -- and to stand in solidarity with the great struggles raging from the Mideast to the Midwest and across the world for liberation and self-determination.
We'll be demonstrating (near) where we used to, years ago:

AWARE meeting. 5-7pm, in new location (May 2010) McKinley Foundation's Dean Clark room, 5th and Daniel, Champaign, . The Dean Clark room is on McKinley Foundation's main floor, near the game room. Closest door is on Daniel St. Park free in the parking structure across the street. - Saturday, weekly:
Farmer's Market at Lincoln Square Mall, Urbana, 8-12 AM. Stop by to chat or help us spread the word about the anti-war movement and other progressive causes. We set up shop at the Farmer's Market every week throughout summer and fall. "The Main Event" Monthly Anti-War Demonstration. Join us on the first Saturday of each month, 2 - 4 pm, at the corner of Main St. and Neil St. rain, wind or shine. Our peace-related themes vary from month to month.
